Syneva Colle received her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in cello performance from the University of Maryland. She worked for many years as a session musician in Nashville and is a published composer and arranger. She is a founding member of the Corwin Trio and the Arco Ensemble, and a member of the Fairfax Symphony Orchestra. Syneva served as the Artist-in-Residence for the Collington Independent Living Community in 2020-21, and for twelve years  volunteered at the W.O. Smith Music School in Nashville, providing music lessons free of charge to underserved students.
